Valtteri Mulkahainen a physical education teacher from Sotkamo, Finland has spent the last six years capturing many magical moments of his country’s wildlife. One of these stories has even gone viral. It was when a school teacher happened to chance upon baby bear cubs actually frolicking and dancing around in a forest.
In 2013, on the 3rd of June, Valtteri had planned to explore the Finnish taiga around the town of Matinselkonen. On exploring the area, he noticed a bear entering the clearing with a few small cubs. Valtteri had been devoting a lot of his free time to photography and it was because of his passion that he was able to capture these unbelievable moments on one of his adventures.
1The cubs reminded Valtteri of children playing on a playground
Valtteri said: “The cubs behaved like little children”. “They were playing, and even started a few friendly fights. I felt like I was on a playground in front of my house, where small children frolic around.
Astonished and amicably surprised, Valterri also remarked further “That’s how much they reminded me of little children. At one point, the three of them got up on their hind legs and started pushing each other. It was like they were dancing in a circle.”
2Valtteri had the perfect view from 50 meters away
Valtteri was able to get a perfect view of the adorable action from 50 meters away in a shelter. He said: “I photographed the cubs with the bear all evening and all night”. It was one of the most magical sights he had ever seen undoubtedly.
