#1. Prince William

Britain recently did a poll on who was the most the famous in the royal family. Surprisingly, it was not Queen Elizabeth or Prince Charles. ComRes released a poll where 68% of the people asked said the most popular British royal was none other than Prince William. As The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William may be married to Catherine Middleton but even she did not make the top of the list. The poll also showed Britain’s royals are more popular than the country’s politicians. These polls were conducted on June 11-13, though this is not the first time Prince William has been voted as the most popular British royal.

#2. Queen Elizabeth II

Coming in second place was none other than Queen Elizabeth. The polls showed that Queen Elizabeth II had 63% of the popular vote. Although the Queen of England is in her 88, she still goes out in the public and tends to her official duties. This includes investitures, going overseas for visits, ceremonies, including the State Opening of Parliament, and visits with audiences with the ministers. This is a woman whose people adores and love her for everything she has done for England. She is high up on the list, but she is not quite up at the top.

#4. David Cameron

Prime Minister David Cameron came in at fourth place with 28% of the popular vote. As the leader of the Conservative Party and the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, he falls short on the polls of most popular. David Cameron was invited by Queen Elizabeth II to form a government at age 43 with the resignation of Prime Minister Gordon Brown. David Cameroon was the youngest British Prime Minister in quite some time. Lord Liverpool was the youngest British Prime Minister before him and he was appointed in 1812. Prime Minister Cameron had the intention of putting aside the differences of the parties and work for the common good as well as national interest.

Coming in last on the list is Prince Harry, younger sibling to Prince William. Prince Harry spent time getting his education in schools within the United Kingdom and took some “vacation” or a while. Shortly after, Prince Harry chose to hold a career in the military studying at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst where he was commissioned as a second lieutenant. He was assigned to the Blues and Royals in the Household Cavalry Regiment with his brother or a temporary time. He served two tours in Afghanistan, one with the Blues and Royals and the second with the Army Air Corps.
