How Some Popular TV Show Actors Changed From When They First Appeared Till Now
TV shows have a lot of effort put into them to make them more enjoyable for the audience. This is why most shows run for over 5 seasons. In these five seasons, the actors playing the characters age as well and this is captured on the show.
It is really interesting to see how these actors aged and their characters developed over the seasons and episodes. Some shows that run for nearly 10 seasons have their main character looking nothing like the first season. Today, let’s take a look at some of the most popular characters and how they changed over the years.
1Ted Mosby from ‘How I Met Your Mother’
The main protagonist of the popular sitcom ‘How I Met Your Mother’ didn’t go through much of a drastic change throughout the show’s life. As an architect played by Josh Radnor, he is quite humble and tries his best to fall in love with most women he meets but unfortunately the relationship never works out. Even at the end of the show he still has all the charms he did in the first season but is more refined.
2Barney Stinson from ‘How I Met Your Mother’
The breakout character who was the source for a ton of the best catchphrases in TV history was Barnabas “Barney” Stinson portrayed by Neil Patrick Harris. Throughout the show, he has been shown as a womanizer who will sleep with anyone he meets. He does fall in love and try to start a family. In the last few seasons, he goes from being a womanizer to actually wanting a relationship.
3James Wilson from ‘House, M.D.’
You cannot remember the show ‘House, M.D.’ without remembering the one person who took everything thrown at them graciously, James Wilson. Played by Robert Sean Leonard, he is the best-remembered character from the show and encapsulates what a true friend really is. No matter the torture he went through being friends with House, he still stuck by his side till the end.
4Gregory House from ‘House, M.D.’
As with any character that is meant to be rude and unconventional at the start of the show, in ‘House M.D’, Dr. Gregory House was doing just that. The character was played by the very talented Hugh Laurie. But, as the show progressed we see a very impressive change in the character and how he regarded his friends and lovers.
5Walter White from ‘Breaking Bad’
There are a few characters who can steal hearts like Walter White can, or as the world knows him – ‘Heisenberg’. Played brilliantly by Bryan Cranston, the character arch we see Walter go through from being an average nobody to becoming a drug kingpin who loses everything was just the best writing on television. He proved just how far a simple high school teacher could go just for his family.
