1 Early life of Paul Walker
Paul Walker was born to Paul Walker III, a sump contractor and Cheryl Crabtree Walker, who worked in the modeling industry. Paul’s father had won the Golden Gloves Championship twice. Paul was a very handsome child who treasured blond hair, blue-eyes and very attractive skin tone, this was gifted by his lineage, since, his predecessors hailed from different ethnicity – English, German, Swiss and Irish
Paul was the second eldest of his siblings, Caleb, Cody, and Ashlie. His sister Amie was the eldest. He attended the school at San Fernando Valley and graduated from the Sun Valley’s Village Christian School. Paul majored in Marine Biology at a college in Southern California. He was very enthusiastic in athletics especially soccer and surfing. He was so addicted to it that he surfed every day while he was at his home in Huntington Beach and Santa Barbara, California even in the later days.
2 Stepping into the Mass media
Paul began his career in modeling at the age of two. He was starred in a television commercial for Pampers. During his teenage, after Paul received repeated prompts from his friends to take guest roles in Television, this was the time, when he decided to try his luck. His debut series was in “Highway to Heaven” (1984), in which he acted as a youth with mental disputes and the next series was, “Throb” (1986). He was also starred in The Young and the Restless and Touched by an Angel. After this, Paul walked into the modeling industry and became the teddy boy of many, until 1994. Paul Walker’s big-screen debut was in the movie “Monster in Your Closet,” that was aired in 1986.
3 As a Leading artiste
Walker’s fortune took a positive spin, when he got a prime role to play along with Vin Diesel in the movie – “The Fast and the Furious.” This movie took Paul to greater heights, with a box-office hit and the collection amount totaling more than $200 million. After two years, the contractors of the Fast and the Furious team were back again with a second movie, bigger than the first one starring, Paul Walker. After these movies, Walker performed in other action-oriented movies, which included, Timeline (2003), Into the Blue (2005), Running Scared (2006) and Eight Below (2006).
His dexterity in acting flourished while he did the movie ‘Flags of Our Fathers.’ Paul preferred to do action oriented roles. ‘The Death and Life of Bobby Z’ (2007), ‘Takers’ (2010) and ‘Fast Five’w (2011) are some of his renowned films.
He was nominated as the best Lead Actor in a series at the Youth in Film Awards, during the year 1998. He was repeated in the fifth and sixth segment of ‘The Fast and the Furious series.’ The director did not want to take him off the role because of his dedication and his ability to support his vision of how he wanted the film to be. Paul won the MTV Movie Award for his best on-screen duo, with Vin Diesel in Fast and Furious 6. He was earning a salary of $8,500,000 while he was working on the Fast and Furious 7 movie.
Walker was being filmed in Furious 7, which was scheduled for release on July, 2014. But, since he passed away before that, the film was completed with the help of Walker’s brother’s Caleb and Cody and was screened in April 2015.
Three movies were released after the death of Paul walker – ‘Hours’, ‘Brick Mansions’, and ‘Furious 7’ in the United States and the United Kingdom. The Three movies turned out to be a block-buster hit.
4 Beyond the Screen
Paul earned a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu from Paragon BJJ Academy under the guidance of Ricardo “Franjinha” Miller.
He also developed an organization – ‘Charity Reach out Worldwide’ which is focused in helping the areas to come out after the attack of a natural disaster. Paul and his crew offered their support to the victims of Haiti after it was struck by an earthquake with 8.8 magnitudes in the year 2010. Roger Rodas was the financial adviser of this team.
Moreover, he was seen in the show ‘Shark Men’ the National Geographic Channel series. The show was previously known as ‘Expedition Great White’ and was telecasted in the year 2010, where he worked in Guadalupe, studying about the Great White Sharks.
He was also a professional race car driver and competed in the Redline Time Attack racing series, where he raced an M3 E92. He was functioning in hands with AE Performance Team. Paul was grooming himself to take part in an auto show before his demise.
5 Private life
Walker resided at Santa Barbara, with his dogs. Paul has a daughter by the name, Meadow Walker, born to him and Rebecca Soteros. Rebecca was Paul’s ex-girlfriend. Meadow lived with her mother until she was 13 years at Hawaii and then shifted to California to be with Paul in the year 2011. After the death of Paul Walker, Vin Diesel has assumed the role of Meadow’s God Father. Paul Walker loved his daughter so much, that he engraved the name of his daughter in his right wrist along with hibiscus, the state flower of Hawaii.
6 The Tragedy
Paul Walker passed away in a car accident on November 30, 2013, after attending a charity event organized by “Reach out Worldwide.” The Porsche Carrera GT car was driven by, Roger Rodas (CEO of Always Evolving) and Paul was in the passenger seat. The spot of accident was at The Hercules Street in Santa Clarita. Roughly about 3:30 pm, the car that travelled in a 45miles per hour speed collided onto a solid lamppost near the Kelly Johnson Parkway, in California, and the automobile exploded into flames. Both Rodas and Paul died on the spot. Rodas died of multiple traumatic damages and walker deceased because of both traumatic hurts and fire injuries. It was hard for the police to identify both the bodies.
Paul’s body was cremated at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills on 15th December, 2013.
Paul Walker was a great humanitarian, that the city board of Pelluhue, Chile, has named a main street in the township as “Paul Walker street” as an appreciation for the support he rendered to the sufferers of the 2010 Earthquake in Chile. Paul also gave more importance to friendship. He was in good friends with many specially Vin Diesel, whom Paul considers to be like a brother. Vin Diesel has also named his daughter Pauline in remembrance of his friend Paul. It is very sad that the world has lost such a high-quality artiste and a good soul.
