How these old hollywood actors of today looked in their Youth years
We have seen and adored these Hollywood actors in the roles they have brilliantly portrayed in their old age, but most of these actors whom we love watching have been working in films for many years. Old age may have given spots and wrinkles on these faces, but the lines of experience and maturity totally outshine those frivolous facial lines. These are also some of the smartest and prettiest actors of their times. Let’s see how they looked when they started out their careers and how they look now:
1 Michael Gambon
Well, who in the world does not know Alder Dumbledore from the Harry Porter series? Michael Gambon is the name behind that iconic character. He was recently seen as Cedric in the 2012 film Quartet.
And this is how he looked in 1970s when he became popular through a BBC TV series “The Borderers”. He had started his career in Hollywood with the film “Othello”.
2 Judi Dench
Dame Judith Olivia Judi Dench, the lady who we all know as “M”, the boss of our favourite spy James Bond, has also played the character of Philomena in the film “Philomena”. She has been seen in many films as this strong willed old lady.
This is how she looked way back in 1957 when she gave her debut performance with Old Vic Company.
3 Enid Diana Elizabeth Rigg
She last appeared in a 2006 film “The Painted Veil” as the “Superior Mother”. She is best known for her portrayal as “Emma Peel” in the YV series’, “The Avengers”, which aired from 1965 to 1968.
She gave her debut performance way back in the year 1957 in “The Caucasian Chalk Circle”. She has also worked in the BBC mini-series “Mother Love”. What a beauty she was in her youth!
4 Larry Hagman
Larry Martin Hagman, who played his last role in the 2010 film “The Flight of the Swan”, as “Corporate President”, died in 2012 at the age of 81.
He had started his career in 1950 by acting in the productions of Magaret Webster School. He had also served in the US Air Force from 1952 to 1956.
5 Betty White
Betty White Ludden, popular in professional circles as Betty White was seen in the TV series ‘Betty White’s Off their Rockers”, in 2012 which went on air till 2013. She was also seen in the 2011 film “The Lost Valentine” as “Caroline Thomas”. She has been a radio host, author, comedienne, producer, TV Personality.
She started her career way back in 1939, when she along with her classmate sang from “The Merry Widow”, for an experimental channel in Los Angeles. In 2013, Guinness World Records recognised her, as having the longest career in TV industry (a glorious run of almost 75 years) for a female entertainer.
6 James Spader
This talented actor, popular as “Alan Shore” in the hit TV Series “Boston Legal” (2008-2014), was last seen in the 2015 movie Avengers: The Age of Ultron as “Ultron.”
He started his career in 1981 with “The Endless Love” and later became popular with the 1986 film “Pretty in Pink”.
7 Chevy Chase
Cornelius Crane Chevy Chase had been doing many different jobs before he started acting in the National Lampoon’s Vacation series, the first film of which released in 1978. He comes from a prominent family from New York.
He co-founded the comedy ensemble “Channel One’ in 1967 and in 1973 he got completely immersed in his comedy career. He worked for the late night show “Saturday Night Live”, in 1975.
Most of these actors love their work to the core, as there can be no other reason for them to be doing such great work even today. Hats off to their talent and a never-ending love-affair with the camera.
