One of the most significant musical and cultural icons in the world, the King of Rock and Roll was born on the 8th of January, 1935. Starting his acclaimed role in the history of music with the first RCA single, ‘Heartbreak Hotel’ in 1956, Elvis took the musical scene by storm. His good looks and versatile voice helped make him a heartthrob among the female listeners. He also took to acting with his debut in the 1958 film, ‘Love Me Tender’. He is regarded and recorded as the best-selling solo artist in the history of recorded music.

Born on the 18th of July in 1980, Kristen Bell started her career in stage productions while she was attending the Tisch School of the Arts in New York. In 2004, she appeared in the movie, ‘Spartan’ which gained her critical acclaim for her performance. After her breakout performance as the title character in the 2008 comedy, ‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall’, she started appearing in many more comedies down the line such as: ‘When in Rome’, ‘A Bad Moms Christmas’, ‘Frozen’, ‘Ralph Breaks the Internet’.
3 Freddie Mercury
The British singer-songwriter was born on the 5th of September in 1946. In 1970 he formed the now legendary British band Queen and was its lead vocalist. He is now regarded as one of the greatest singers and vocalist in the history of rock music. The major reason for this was his flamboyant stage persona and his very impressive four-octave vocal range.
4 David Bowie
He was born on 8th January 1947 as David Robert Jones in Brixton, London. His lifetime sales are estimated at 140 million records sold worldwide, making him one of the best-selling artists of all time. His career was marked by innovation in visual presentation and stagecraft. He died of liver cancer two days after the release of his final album ‘Blackstar’ on 10th January 2016.
5 Naomi Campbell
She was born on May 22nd, 1970, in London. She was one of the 6 models of her generation who were declared ‘supermodels’ by the fashion industry and international media. At age 7, she appeared in Bob Marley’s “Is This Love” music video. At age 12, she appeared in the music video for Culture Club’s “I’ll Tumble 4 Ya”. She was spotted in 1986 and appeared on the cover of British ‘Elle’ just before her 16th birthday. She is also an actress and a singer.
