1 The first adoption
The first child Angelina Jolie adopted was in 2002, when she was married to Billy Bob Thornton. The child was Maddox Chivan from Cambodia. 2 Second adoption
The second baby that was adopted by Jolie was Zahara Marley from Ethiopia in 2005. Zahara was put up for adoption by her birth mother and when she was adopted by Jolie; her birth mother came forward and said that Zahara was lucky and fortunate for being adopted by Angelina. It was during her adoption that rumors of Angelina and Brad being together started for the first time in 2005. Brad even went to Ethiopia with Jolie to bring Zahara back.
