Veganism is a form of food choice like vegetarianism or non-vegetarianism. It is very close to the vegetarian form of food choice, in which an individual foregoes every kind of meat product including eggs.

Veganism goes one step further and says no to all meat products and even dairy products. People who become vegans avoid eating cheese, milk products, drinking and eating everything made out of dairy. They tend to substitute it with soy milk and cheese.

It has its benefits, since there is no chance of lactose intolerance, if you happen to suffer from it and in their eyes and belief; even milking animals like cows and buffaloes is a form of torture like killing them to eat them.

Not only common people like us, believe in veganism, but many celebs also support and advocate this form of food choice. And here are 8 of those celebs who are proudly vegans.
