1 When Anne Hathaway had to do double work
James Franco and Anne Hathaway were made the host of 83rd Academy Awards to grab the viewership of younger audience. Hathaway tried her best to rescue the show when James Franco stood like a stone.
2 The attention stunt from Liza Minnelli
Things got pretty weird when Minnelli tried to grab attention by intruding in to Ellen DeGeneres’ record selfie. She also tried to steal a hug from Lupita Nyong’o when her name was announced even though she had nothing to do with the film.
3 Adrien Brody locked lips with Halle Berry
The audience landed in shock as was Halle Berry when Brody unexpectedly kissed her after receiving the Oscar.

When Will Rogers was made host of the Oscars,he was presenting the award for the best director and he messed up the situation by calling up the first name which created confusion as there were a couple of them with the same name. The stage became super awkward when the wrong person came for the award.
