1Overall Winner and Creatures Under the Water Award Winner: “Terry the Turtle Flipping the Bird” By Mark Fitzpatrick
Now this is an incredible shot of Terry the Turtle giving the finger or flipping the bird, call it what you want. The photo won the overall winners title beating 7K entries from around the world. The image was captured when Mark was swimming with turtles off Lady Elliot Island in Queensland Australia. He captured the photo just when the Turtle’s flipper was pulling back while swimming towards the camera making it appear as if Terry was flipping the bird. Now that’s hilarious.
2Highly Commended: “Fun for All Ages” By Thomas Vijayan
Now how cool and amusing is this. Monkeys monkeying around, isn’t that perfect? By the looks of it, this shot was most probably taken in one of the wild life forests or reserves of India, by Indian photographer Thomas Vijayan.
3When You’re Smiling, The Whole World Smiles with You
Brilliant timing in the category of highly commended and titled “smiley” by photographer Arthur Telle thiemenn. BTW, don’t even think for once these are photoshopped because the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards is a serious competition.
