3Why is this happening?

4How do these two factors affect young people?

These two factors together affect young people because with today’s dependency on social media young people find it hard to interact with each other in real life. This creates a new life online with an online presence. This gives them the need to be only online and they miss out on hours of sleep.

5This becomes a cycle

This constant need to be online and not sleep becomes a vicious cycle that cannot be broken which results in them feeling lazy and not having the energy people of their age normally have. This creates a mindset where they constantly need the attention of their online friends, followers, fans, etc.
