15 Signs That Will Let You Know You’re Getting Older
Have you noticed some changes in your life? Changes like you don’t like listening to today’s music. Do you love watching the movies you saw as a kid instead of the ones releasing now? You cannot walk past a toilet without getting an urge to pee? If you said yes to any of them, you’re getting old.
These are the signs that life gives you when you’re getting old. This is life’s way of saying that you need to change your ways and habits and need to make yourself better for the coming change in your life as age does take a toll on your body.
1Neighbors don’t realize you’re having a party
When we’re young and want to throw a party it usually involves two important things: loud music and alcohol. But, as we get older we want to throw parties that have just our close friends and family and light soft music. When the neighbors have no clue there’s a party going on, you know you’ve grown up.
2You have only one favorite grocery store
One major sign that you’ve grown up is that you have just one favorite grocery store. When you were young you’d try out every one mostly because you had money and loved experimenting. Now, that you’re older you just go to the one closer to your home or the one that gives the most discounts.
3You hate today’s music
Anybody in their 30s will accept this fact that they do not like today’s music and long for the old days of music. Anyone who grew up in the 80s and 90s with that era’s music hates today’s music and we understand that. Music has changed a lot over the past couple of decades and today it has its positives negatives compared to music 20-30 years ago.
4Sleeping in a strange position
One of the worst parts of growing up into an adult is the constant need to sleep. You’ll notice this; you’ll feel tired and sleepy and will want to take a nap anywhere and anytime. This will lead you to falling asleep in place you shouldn’t be sleeping and you will end up with a cramp in your neck or back or even bruises.
5You see big houses and think of their mortgage
You cannot enjoy movies anymore because you begin to calculate how much the family is spending. You’ll see your childhood favorite movie ‘Home Alone’ and wonder what their mortgage on a large house like that must be like. You’ll over-analyze and calculate the family’s earning and see if you could ever live that way.
