1You can put any jewellery into a new puncture

This is not true and something that should be understood. There are two types of jewelry that are available one with exposed threads and the other where the threads are covered. If you have a new puncture then get a piece of jewelry that has its threads covered as this will give the hole a chance to heal. If the threads are exposed then it can collect dirt and sweat and slows down the healing process.
