How to use everyday things to ease your life – Life hacks
Your tooth brush isn’t effective only for your teeth; you can clean your sneakers with it. Chalk can help you get rid of ants and salt mixed with water can clean the green leafed vegetable better than anything. These useful tips can help you and easy your life.
1 Hand cream
Besides it would keep your hands hydrated and soft, it can also help you to get rid of the static electricity of your woolen sweaters or pants. Add some hand cream on your hands, spread it well until it starts soaking in your skin and then pass your hands over the clothes. Also, you can use it for polishing your leather shoes.
If you have clothes with ugly greasy stains, don’t worry. You can easily get rid of them if you grate some chalk on the stain, let it stay on the stain for a while and then wash it. Also, chalks can be used if you have pests like ants in your home. Just mark the places where the ants usually show up. The chalk has calcium carbonate that would be unsupportable for the ants and it would make them go away. Chalk is also good for keys that are getting stuck in the lock. Pass the chalk over the key and you’d be surprised from the result.
3 Tooth paste
How many times have you tried to clean your favorite sneakers with a detergent? Don’t waste it, because simple tooth paste can actually clean them way better. Another use of the toothpaste can be for cleaning your hands if you desperately want to get rid of heavy smells (like garlic or fish for e.g.).
If you aren’t satisfied when you clean the leafy greens with water only, add some salt in order to get them perfectly clean and safe for consuming. Salt can help you keep your windows from frosting in winter. Just wipe them with salty water. Also, salt can be much better in cleaning greasy pans and pots. Add water and salt in the greasy pot, sauce-pen or the pot. Let it soak for a little while and the salt would absorb the grease.
5 Nail polish
For the ladies who hate having jewelry that becomes darker after a while – just add a coat of see-through nail polish. This way your jewelry would never go dark again. Nail polish can save your nylon tights too. If you notice a small hole just apply a little bit of nail polish. It will get dry and prevent the hole from becoming larger.
6 Coffee filters
You can use coffee filters to polish your mirrors or glasses. They would shine better than ever. Also, you can stop the dirt from coming out from the bottom of your flower pots by adding one or two coffee filters on the bottom.
7 Rubber bands
These can be helpful when you are painting your home. In order to get somewhere to drain the extra color of your brush, just put a rubber band on the can (all over it, so the rubber band is in the middle of the can) and brush off the extra color.
You can use them when you vacuum and you want to find little things (like earrings for e.g.). Place the sock (preferably old one) over the vacuum and clean your carpets and floors.
You can use them to light your candles or your cooker and prevent your fingers from burning. Of course the spaghetti shouldn’t be cooked.
10 Tea bags
Use dry tea bags to get rid of the bad smell of your shoes. Just place the tea bags over night in your shoes and they would absorb the strong odor.
11 Pen spring
You can put the pen spring on your phone charger in order to keep it from bending and breaking.
12 Egg membrane
The egg membrane can be peeled off and you can use it to prevent bleeding. So, next time you get cut open, just use this trick – the membrane would dry very fast and would become like plastic. It would stop the bleeding. This method can be used to heal herpes simplex as well.
