Though Tippit already had a description of the suspect in the murder of Kennedy, it was impossible for him to ensure if this was Oswald. When the policeman started walking towards Oswald, then Oswald shot him four times.

10Oswald was arrested in a movie theater
After killing the cop, he was noticed by a shoe store worker, who later decided to chase Oswald. Oswald visited a movie theater, and the shoe store worker named Johnny Brewer followed Oswald. He asked a theater employee if Oswald had a ticket and she replied no. Johnny Brewer asked her to call the police. He was caught there. An angry mob outside was already sneering and menacing him, knowing that he was included in the killing of Officer Tippit and possibly the President as well.

However, he was brutally shot by the Dallas owner of a strip club named Jack Ruby.
