The mother-to-be goes through all of that for the baby. Since the contractions may come and go like shooting pains, most women opt for an epidural injection, which numbs the body below the waist, so that the child birth happens painlessly for them. But some brave-hearts go for the natural method and to distract themselves from the jaw clenching and potentially mind-numbing pain, they do things they like to do, like knitting, or reading or anything that can take their minds off the pain. 2 Things she packed for her hospital stay

Recently, Majid was hospitalized as she was about to give birth to her child. She had brought all of her makeup items in bags with herself. Even her husband helped her out when the contractions got intense and at times he himself applied makeup when the she couldn’t do it.

3 Reasons for the makeup

Though she said that she wanted to look good when her daughter would look at her for the very first time, Majid actually used the talent of her makeup skills in order to keep her mind off the painful contractions. Contractions during the childbirth can be very painful and Majid’s way of keeping herself busy in doing something that she loved helped her out. She had actually asked her doctor also, whether she could do makeup or not and they didn’t seem to mind as it would take her mind off the pain and it did. She really believes that women should not be miserable during childbirth and should indulge in doing things they like as long as their doctors are fine with that!

There are pictures in which Alaha is seen holding a sponge in the shape of an egg to mix and blend the makeup around her eyes, while sitting on her bed. The table in front of her is full of cups which hold her make-up brushes, foundations and some cosmetic covered paper tissues.

It was taken the minute she was first handed to me after I delivered her, look at her little head in my palm,’ she wrote, admitting that she did go ‘full glam’ to welcome her daughter into the world.” said Alaha on being asked about her makeup routine during the contractions.

This yummy mummy certainly brought her child in a different and beautiful manner. The beauty blogger seems to be really happy and is enjoying the sweet phase of motherhood.
